The work is being financed by a grant of EC$70, 000 from the Social Security Board. The project and management of the finances are under the supervision of Mr. Sam Webster, Adviser to the Minister of Infrastructure, Communications and Utilities, the Hon. Evan Gumbs.
On Wednesday this week, Mr. Webster outlined the expenditure as follows: material from Lake’s Do It Best Hardware: $46,684; Unique Trading: $10,640; and cost of labour: $13,094, totalling $70,418.

The work is being carried out by Glenville Hodge and crew and Glen Richardson and crew, a total of 12 workers. The refurbishing of the 4,092 square-foot roofs started last week and is due to be completed in time for the reopening of the school on Monday, August 30.
