Representative of the Anguilla Tourist Board and the islands’ Tourism industry recently returned to the island following a 3-day visit to Puerto Rico from March 6th – 9th, 2003.

The delegation which was led by the Deputy Director of Tourism, Mrs Candis Niles, included representatives from the Anguilla Great House, La Sirena Hotel, Paradise Cove, Malliouhana Hotel, Frangipani Beach Club, Cocoloba Resort, Shoal Bay Villas and Carimar Beach Club, carried out a number of sales calls with American Eagles top producing travel agencies. Members also participated in the annual trade show of the Puerto Rican Travel Trade (SOME pronounced SOMAY) which took place at the Rueben Rodriquez Coliseum in Bayamon. Over 500 travel agents visited the show, giving the Anguillian delegation the opportunity to distribute up-to-date information and special promotional packages to this key segment of the market.
