The march, according to Camp Coordinator, Jennyville Smith, was to raise awareness of climate change and to empower the youth to contribute towards making the world a better place and a more productive environment.
The Camp has as its theme “Youth in Action Educating, Motivating and Empowering.” It was attended by 38 participants from Curacao, Santo Domingo, St. Kitts, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Anguilla.
Minister of Social Development, the Hon. Edison Baird, thanked them for participating in what he described as having been an excellent workshop. He hoped that the skills they were exposed to would be used to benefit the people in the respective territories.
