Altamer Celebrates 10 Years |

June 2010 marks 10 years of operations for Altamer. Altamer held a celebration for staff and spouses at the Russian Amethyst Villa on Tuesday marking this occasion.

Rebecca Eggleton, President & Owner of Altamer, thanked the staff for their dedication and service: "While Altamer is a very special place, it is our staff who treat the guests like their own family, and care for the property as if it was their own home, that keeps the guests coming back again and again. The Altamer staff create the memorable experience for the guest. We have a great repeat businesss and it is a tribute to each of the Altamer staff" she stated.
Rebecca recognized 5 of the staff, Carl Irish, General Manager, Preston Brooks, Villa Head Butler, Janet Depusoir, Head Housekeeper, Wayne Hughes, Villa Head Butler, and Judith Vanterpool, Housekeeper, for achieving 10 years of service at Altamer.
Carl Irish, General Manager, on behalf of the staff thanked Rebecca and Michael Eggleton for creating Altamer. He expressed his appreciation for the great team work the staff consistently have shown and their ability to help out in whatever needs to be done. He also thanked the service providers who compliment the guest experience.
The Brazilian Emerald Villa guests joined the celebration and cheered the kindness and service of Altamer staff. Altamer currently has three villas, Russian Amethyst, Brazilian Emerald and African Sapphire, and a conference center, designed by architect Myron Goldfinger with interiors by June Goldfinger. Altamer expansion plans include developing a marina between the existing property and Cap Juluca.
