The Local Preachers aspect of the Ministry is regarded as a major and important institution of the Methodist Church, hence the annual training school for them which will take place in Barbados.

“I will be spending a week there helping them to interpret the Bible with some techniques in preaching and preparation of sermons,” Rev. Dr. Niles, who once served as Ministerial Tutor at the United Theological College of the West Indies, at Mona, Jamaica, said.

The Anguillian Methodist Minister, who served in various leading positions in the Church in the Caribbean, will be retiring from active Ministry at the end of August this year.
