Anguilla hosts successful 2010 Leeward Islands


The dust has settled on the much anticipated 2010 Leeward Islands Youth track and field Championship. While dignitaries from Government and the International Amateur Athletics Federation lent their presence, the real stars were the 200 athletes who shone on the track.


As the competition commenced the sub regional athletes show cased their skills to the very appreciative crowd that gathered at the Ronald Webster Park on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd May 2010. The games effervesced with good performances, which satiated the track famished crowd. Though the Anguillian team did not win the regional title there were many commendable performances.
