The Stingers Cycling Club of Anguilla participated in a grand prix de St. Martin 4 stage race that was organised and hosted by V.C.S.M of St Martin from Friday May 14th to Sunday May 16th. The Club entered the event with its three senior cyclists Kris Pradel, Claude (Patterson) Richardson & Danny Laud. Other participating teams consisted of riders from Columbia, Guadeloupe, Marie Galante, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Jamaica, Santo Domingo and St. Martin/St. Maarten.

The Stingers Club took four top ten finishes over the two individual time trials & races held, and finished 6th overall as a team out of the 9 teams that entered.
Kris was the highest placed local rider amongst St. Maarten/St. Martin & Anguilla finishing 15th overall, Patterson 20th and Danny 22nd out of the 50 riders that participated over the four races.
The Club would like to thank its sponsors Black Orchid, Vinca Plumbing, Benjamin Group, DMA Services, DLG, Exterme Car Rental, Elmoalis & Caribbean Pipeline Technologies Ltd for their continous support. The Club would also like to notify the public that it will be having a car wash & fish fry on Saturday May 22nd at the Ronald Webster parking lot to raise funds. Money raised from this event will be used on the riders for their future involvement in both upcoming national & regional races.
