The Anguilla National Youth Council Ltd. has elected a new Board of Directors at their Annual General Meeting held on Monday 15th March at the Teacher’s Resource Centre.

Mr. Kasseem Forde-Director of Nu Life Productions was elected President for the second term, Ms. Shauna Richardson Office Manager of the Anguilla Tennis Academy was elected Vice-President, Mr. Phillip Delaney, PRO of Youth Crime Watch Anguilla was elected General Secretary, Mr. Jammar Ruan, member of the Anguilla Red Cross was elected Treasurer, Mr. Whaldama Brooks senior member of the Stingray Programme was elected Asst. Secretary Treasurer and Ms. Janai Gumbs, PRO of the Anguilla Scouts Association was elected PRO of the Anguilla National Youth Council.

The new executive will serve for a term of two years, and will occupy an office space at the Department of Youth and Culture.
Election committee officials expressed their satisfaction at the turn out of the General elections and were pleased with the number of youth organisations represented.
The Ministry of Social Development, Department of Youth and Culture would like to congratulate the new executive and express thanks to the 15 youth organizations who participated in the General election.

The department also encourages organizations who have not yet registered with the National Youth Council, to do so. Registration forms can be obtained at the Department of Youth and Culture.
