The grand occasion was held at the Rodney MacArthur Rey Auditorium on January 14 at which addresses were delivered by Chief Minister, Osbourne Fleming, Minister of Finance, Victor Banks, and Minister of Social Development, Evans Rogers.

Long-serving President of the Friends of the Hospital, Audrey Brooks, said it was a grand occasion for the elderly and that everyone had a very delightful time. She was grateful to all who assisted her in organising and holding the function as well as to the caterers at E’s Owen and chef Sharmash Brooks who prepared the luncheon.
