The residents at the Miriam Gumbs Senior Citizens Home were selected to benefit from “a Random Act of Kindness” performed by LIME on Tuesday this week, as part of that telecommunications company’s outreach in the community. The occasion was a luncheon sponsored by the organisation.

LIME’s Country Manager in Anguilla, Mark Romney, told the media: “This is what we call ‘A Random Act of Kindness.’ Like any other special time in the year, we try to reach out to the community with acts as this. Today, we chose to donate lunches to the Miriam Gumbs Senior Citizens Home and we want to always remember all the various segments of our society; and we are delighted to bring the special cheer of Christmas to the residents here, to share our love with them and to make them feel part of our entire community. We are really happy about doing this ‘Random Act of Kindness’. It is pretty much in keeping in tune with our corporate responsibility to the community of Anguilla. It is really a pleasure for us to do this. We are very much keen in looking at similar types of activities and, more so, to extend the love, warmth and joy that the Christmas Season is known for.”

Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Mr. Romney wished the residents at the home, and the staff taking special care of them, a very blessed Christmas.
