From December 7th – 11th 2009 fifteen (15) persons representing operators of Ferry and Charter/Shuttle boats completed a one week programme which included sessions and activities highlighting The Anguilla Experience and a Customer Service Training component “Excellence Together”. The training was facilitated by Ms. Shirlene Nibbs of Nibbs & Associates based on Antigua. Some of the objectives of the training were: to improve the Service being offered by Boat Operators; to improve both internal and external communication and to examine existing standards for proper customer service.

Since, transportation/access is an important element of The Anguilla Experience, the aim of the sessions was to demonstrate to the participants their role in enhancing the experience their Guests/Customers enjoy as they are transported between St. Maarten/St. Martin and Anguilla. The training was well received by the participants, who have promised to insure that they put into practice what they have learnt.
