Four Of Anguilla' s Young Baseball Players Have Been Awarded For Their Outstanding Performance


A small ceremony was held at the Coronation Park on Sunday September 27th after a training session. In attendance were coach Owen Mussington, Elaine Brooks and Chairman of Pony Anguilla Calvin Hughes.

Also in attendance was Minister of Sports the Honourable Evans M Rogers, who gave some brief remarks where encouraged the players to continue to play the game, be good role models for others to follow and congratulated the awardees. Those awareded were Shadale Rogers batting avge .125, Alrique Rogers batting avge .222, Zachary Richardson batting avge .250 and MVP for Anguilla Jeison Bryan .300. Their outstanding performance were gain during the Caribbean Series in Puerto Rico July 13th-19th 2009. Each player received a personal gear bag compliments Anguilla Pony Baseball.
