Chesney is among a number of Anguillian youngsters, drawn earlier from the Under 13 squad, to have reached a high level of performance in the field of cricket.

He will now be playing in the one-day NAGICO Leeward Islands tournament which begins on October 12 when Anguilla will compete against Antigua and Barbuda at the Ronald Webster Park. The second match will be played in St. Maarten on Tuesday, October 13 and on Wednesday, October 14 Anguilla will play against the US Virgin Islands in Anguilla.

Cricket Development Officer, Cardigan Connor, who is proud of Chesney’s success, commented that now that the young cricketer has served with the Derbyshire County Cricket Club, it is a pleasure to welcome him back home to play with the Anguilla squad.
