Pearl and Ed have lived in Sandy Ground since that auspicious event, and have increased their family to six children, 21 grandchildren, and innumerable great-grandchildren. Their children include Daisy, of Sandy Ground with her husband, Edward Carty; Bronte Newton, of the Water Swamp; Glenroy in the U.S.; Kevin Connor, of Little Harbour; Hillary Connor, of South Hill; and Nicolson Connor, also of the Water Swamp.
Two years ago, Ed and Pearl celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary with a great family reunion. This year, it was just a dinner out with their son. We wish them many more years of health and happiness! Congratulations!
