CAP JULUCA NAMED BEST CARIBBEAN RESORT

Andrew Harper’s Hideaway Report has named Cap Juluca “Best Caribbean Resort”. According to the October 2002 edition of the Hideaway Report, its readers, who are among the world’s most sophisticated travelers, voted the Anguillian resort as the Caribbean’s Best in a recent survey.

Harper’s Hideaway Report is one of the most influential publications in the travel industry. Now in its 24th year, it is considered the ultimate travel guide for sophisticated travelers seeking candid reviews of enchanting luxury hotels, resorts and hideaways in the United States and a round the world. The Report noted that it was not difficult to understand why its readers voted Cap Juluca Best Resort, seeing that “this wonderfully resilient tropical getaway has admirably bounded back to perfection after three major hurricanes between 1995 and 2000”.
Andrew Harper is a noted travel authority whose influence is based on his independent observations. The Hideaway Report accepts no advertising and its representatives travel incognito to inspect the properties that they recommend. The magazine has consequently earned the respect of noted publications like Forbes, Fortune, Mirabella, Vogue, The New York Times and the like.

General Manager, Eustace Guishard says that the management and staff of Cap Juluca are extremely pleased to receive such a rating by the prestigious Hideaway Report. This is an honour, not just for Cap Juluca, but for Anguilla as well, he pointed out. In congratulating his staff on the achievment, Mr. Guishard noted that such high commendations also come with increasing guest expectations. The challenge for our team is to build on our achievements and take our service to the next level, he said.
