The finals were played between Stoney Ground Primary and Road Primary in the presence of a large crowd supporting the two teams. It was an exciting match as the teams battled for supremacy keeping the goal keepers ever alert and busily defending their positions. The late and otherwise quiet evening was punctuated by shouts of applause as the hard-working players managed to break through the goal defences on either side of the playing field.

At the end of the fiercely-played finals, Stoney Ground snatched away the championship from Road Primary, sending mixed emotions among both players and supporters who, after several weeks, ought to have known the rules of good sportsmanship.
