The occasion was the Thanksgiving Service for the 40th Pastoral Anniversary of the Rev. Drs. Ambrose and Kathleen Richardson at which Mr. Webster and his wife, Mrs Cleo Webster, were in attendance.

The recognition and honour came from the Pastor Carl Richardson, while officiating at his parents’ function.

He said the Anguilla Revolution was a bloodless one that had brought about the present prosperity of the island and he praised Mr. Webster, the island’s first Chief Minister, for his leadership role and courage.

The congregation stood in honour of Mr. Webster.
