A check was presented to Mr. Dwayne Adams, Chief Staff Sponsor and executive members of the Debating Society, by Ms. Shyrone Hughes, CCB representative. The presentation took place in the Bank’s Corporate Wing on November 5, 2007.
Mr. Dwayne Adams expressed his gratitude for the generous contribution made to the Club. “The ALHCS Literary and Debating Society is very appreciative and honoured that CCB will once again act as our main sponsor in donating EC$27,000 to the running of the Club and our 2008 trip to the LIDC held in St. Kitts. They have once again proven to be a good corporate citizen by investing in Anguilla’s most important resource, its young people”.

Ms. Cherecia Lewis, Public Relations Officer, commented on the Bank’s willingness to offer its assistance towards this noteworthy cause: “As an institution that is strongly committed to community development, we are pleased to have the opportunity to support the Club’s endeavors by means of financial assistance. Being a member of the Literary and Debating Society not only aids in the personal growth of our youth, but it also equips them with skills that will be useful to them in the professional realm. The Anguilla delegation has performed commendably throughout the years and we look forward to providing our continued support”.
