“Building on the success of the last series of courses conducted earlier this year, DARE officers are now teaching a grade six syllabus of nine weeks and simultaneously a grade three syllabus of five weeks within the schools. The teaching commenced in the week of the 17th September.

During the course, students are being taught by specially trained police officers about drug awareness, peer pressure, friendships, tobacco and alcohol abuse among other topics.

The last DARE programmes were well received by the students, parents, teachers and community.
