Anguilla’s Chief Minister, the Hon. Osbourne Fleming, has congratulated the Hon Ralph T. O’Neal on his election victory in the British Virgin Islands.

Mr. Fleming’s message to the BVI Premier reads as follows:

“On behalf of the Government and people of Anguilla, I extend warm congratulations to you on the resounding victory of the Virgin Island’s Party in Monday’s general elections.

“The people of the British Virgin Islands have reposed their trust in you as their first Premier and your party to provide the creative leadership to the many problems that confront small-island developing states like the British Virgin Islands.

“The Government and people of Anguilla look forward to the continued strengthening of the bonds of friendship between our islands and to your contribution to the future development of prosperity in the years ahead.

“May God continue to bless your Government and the people of the British Virgin Islands.
