FirstCaribbean's Managing Director For Anguilla Pays Courtesy Call On CM And Other Government Offici


Anguilla’s social and economic successes and challenges were part of the discussions here last week during a visit by Mr Oliver Jordan, Managing Director of the bank’s operations in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

Mr Jordan met with a number of government officials including Chief Minister, Mr Osbourne Fleming, Finance Minister, Mr Victor Banks, and Permanent Secretary Finance, Mr Carl Harrigan. He was accompanied by Ms Gracie Elias, Manager with his office, as well as the local Country Manager for FirstCaribbean International Bank, Ms Marie Rey.

He also met with staff at the local branch to hear their suggestions for further strengthening of the branch here.
Mr Jordan described his visit as “enlightening”, stating how pleased he was with the overall development of the island and reiterated FirstCaribbean’s commitment to the social and economic development of the Anguillian people. He also mooted the bank’s intention to provide training for staff in keeping international standards.
