The main objective of the workshop was to equip the officers with the knowledge and skills required, as well as the appropriate attitude, to effectively perform in the role of liaison officer. During the sessions issues ranging from the preparations for arrival to the departure of the dignitaries, and other officials, were discussed.

Feedback from the participants indicated that they felt more confident, knowledgeable and competent to carry out their duties. They stated that the workshop would help them both in their professional and daily lives as they interact with people.

The workshop was organized by the Protocol Officer in the Chief Minister’s Office, Mrs Evalie Bradley, and facilitated by Mrs Rosena Brooks, a Graduate of the Washington School of Protocol in Washington DC and an Educator.
