Over the course of the Antigua games three charter flights left Anguilla at 7:30 am to return just before sun-down on each occasion. The travelers were all very happy for the opportunity afforded them and indicated that they truly valued the experience. According to Junior Johnson, Captain of the C&W sponsored U-15 Cricket team (2003), ‘I want to thank Cable & Wireless very much for inviting me to the game. I really enjoyed it. It was a great experience!’
Waldama ‘Ras B’ Brooks also openly expressed great appreciation to Cable & Wireless for the opportunity to experience one of the World Cup matches first hand. Some of the other individuals who attended the matches compliments Cable & Wireless were Alkins Rogers, Ralph Hodge, Rommel Hughes, Felicia Hennis, John Benjamin and Tim Hodge among others.
Cable & Wireless will also reward one lucky loyal customer with an all expense paid trip for two to the finals to be held in Barbados on 28 April 2007. All customers are eligible and will be entered into the draw by virtue of paying all their bills promptly and fully. There have also been many lucky customers wining the daily quiz on Radio Anguilla with prizes ranging from authentic ICC Cricket World Cup memorabilia (including polo shirts, caps, lanyards and commemorative magazines) to tickets for the semi finals in Jamaica and St Lucia slated for next week.
The winner of the draw to the finals in Barbados will be announced next week!
