Superintendent Carl Ruan stated that drug abuse, violence and other forms of ill behaviour must not be tolerated. He noted that parents and guardians had a responsibility to see that their children did not become victims of drug abuse and that they grow up to live healthy and responsible lives.

Four children from the class reported on the course and how they benefited from it. They said they had learnt a great deal about how to stay away from drugs, including alcohol and tobacco, and spoke about the dangers drugs posed to their health and general wellbeing. The reports were filled with tributes to the police officers who conducted the course.
