Exhibition At The Studio Attracts Many People


The exhibition of Peg Gregory’s paintings at The Studio attracted a number of persons at the opening evening. Displayed are some 26 oil paintings of Anguilla scenes including beach scenes, flowers, trees, birds, boats and homes.

Peg and her husband have been visiting Anguilla for the past 25 years and are now permanent residents and she has her own gallery and studio. She is well-known for her love for Anguilla and her talented paintings and has exhibited for many years at the Devonish Art Gallery. Her work is mostly in oil but she also uses pastel for her excellent portraits that were much in demand in Rhode Island where she and her husband used to live.

Several paintings were sold at the opening night attended by many of Peg’s admirers. Her work is very popular and has reached from east to west coast of the USA as well as to Canada, Europe and the Carib
