Sunsets on the azure water with a clear sky are daily attractions for visitors in Anguilla and many look for the ‘green flash’ that occurs just before the sun vanishes below the horizon.

The Anguillian came upon a lovely visitor a few days ago, waiting to catch a glimpse of that moment. Attired in black and wearing shades, she looked like a perfect model as she relaxed in a beach chair on the powdery sand, her attention focused on the setting sun.

The visitor, who has been living in Washington DC, has expertise in international development and is very fond of Anguilla and its people.

“It is a lovely place,” she said. “Anguillians are incredibly friendly and welcoming and their island is a slice of paradise.”

She is originally from New Jersey where there is a big Anguillian population.
