The Jumelles began singing in their local church choir at the tender age of 11. The twin sisters began to write and compose music at age 14 at which time they produced a demo album. In 1995, they released their debut album entitled “Believe in a Better Day”. Their most recent album, produced in 2001 was entitled “Refuge”.
The Jumelles were also recipients of the 2002 Caribbean Gospel Marlin Music Award for outstanding group vocal performance of the year held in Nassau Bahamas for their hit song “The Lord Keeps Blessing Me” from their album “Refuge”. They are currently working on their third project soon to be released. Individually they have ministered and sung for various dignitaries, Governors including the President of the United States. Also, featured at the concert will be the CCB Mass Choir along with several CCB song enthusiasts who will display their vocal talents.
The concert will be held at the A.L.H.C.S Campus B on March 8th 2007 at 7:30pm. Admission is EC$10.00 for adults and EC$5.00 for children. Tickets can be purchased at CCB, the Anguilla Drug Store, Tackle Box and English Rose. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the event.
Through their Gospel Extravaganza CCB aims to contribute to the community by providing a low cost evening of entertainment, allowing social interaction and an opportunity for the staff to share their talents with friends and well wishers.
