Children Entertained At Flavours |

A large number of children, were been given a rare opportunity to dine at Flavours, an Anguillian-owned top restaurant at Back Street, South Hill, with a commanding view of Road Bay.

The children’s treat was organised by Christine Janot, Manager of the restaurant, in cooperation with teachers at the schools and other persons.
The youngsters were treated with lunch on Sunday, December 17, and were presented with various gifts purchased by the Janot for the occasion. The presentations were made by local ‘Santa Claus’ personality on the island who appears at every function held by businesses and individuals for children during the Christmas season.

“I just love children,” said the restaurant manager. “ I love to see them happy and what best time to make them but at Christmas,” she stated.
“Nobody knows my name,” claimed the bulky ‘Santa Claus’ personality, as he joined the restaurant host at the event. “That really doesn’t matter. I like presenting gifts to the children. It is my way of making them happy.”

The role of ‘Santa Claus’ is admirably performed by Terry Brennan, a former British police constable, who served Anguilla in 1967 and later came back and settled on the island.
