Road School Winner Of NBA Football Tournament |

Even before the last series of matches commenced at Coronation Park on Saturday evening, December 2, the Road Primary School boasted its supremacy in the 18th Primary Schools Football Tournament, sponsored by the National Bank of Anguilla. The hard-playing footballers from the school stuck up posters declaring they would be this year’s champions and they certainly won the all-round boys’ and girls’ competition.

Winner of the Dribbling Competition – Travis Smith of Island Harbour School; Goalkeeper award – Troy Rothdam of the Alwyn Alison Primary School; and the Most Valuable Players of the participating schools were Tre Niles of Stoney Ground School; Shadale Rogers of Valley Primary; Troy Rothdam of Alwyn Alsion Primary; Travis Smith of Morris Vanterpool Primary; Germaine Hughes of Road Primary, Nathaniel Fleming of Island Harbour Primary; and Kerone Hodge-Carty of Central Christian School.
The Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament was Germaine Hughes of Road Primary.

Stoney Ground School Footballers

The winning schools in first to fourth place were Road Primary, Stoney Ground Primary, Valley Primary and Central Christian School.
In the girls’ competition, the winner of the Dribbling Competition was Keivance Lake of Valley Primary and the winner of the Goal Keeper Award was Laquisha Jackson of Road Primary.
The Most Valuable Players of the schools were Tekera Lake of Stoney Ground Primary; Keivance Lake of Valley Primary; Shanice Williams of Alwyn Alison Primary; Alesha Fleming of Morris Vanterpool Primary; Gerilisa Bardoux of Road Primary and Farah Philips of Island Harbour Primary.
Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament was Tekera Lake of Stoney Ground Primary.
