Anguillian Call To The Bar


Another young Anguillian has been called to the Bar in Anguilla, thus joining the cadre of local and other lawyers on the island.

She is Keesha Fleming-Fox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Fleming of Lower South Hill. Her application was made in the High Court on Monday, November 27, by Keithley Lake & Associates and she was admitted to the Bar by Madam Justice Janice George-Creque.

A former student at the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School, she completed her A’Levels at Queen’s College, Tauton Somerset in England in 1994. Mrs Fleming-Fox worked for a short period at Caribbean Juris Chambers from August 1994 to March 1995.

She completed the Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy/ Pre-Law at Barry University in 1998 and achieved the Juris Doctor degree in 2001 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

The Anguillian lawyer was called to the Bar in Michigan in November 2001; in Florida in October 2002 and in Missouri in April 2004 when she was also awarded the Legal Education Certificate. Her work experience includes serving as an Attorney in the Legal Division of the State of Missouri Department of Social Services.
