The American author, Cheryl DuBois, was in Anguilla this week and held a book-signing event in the lobby area of the National Bank of Anguilla in cooperation with the Anguilla Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The novel is a tale of a Chicago trader “sailing off on an unknown adventure…It is a story about every American’s dream to give it all up and live in paradise..”

The author of the book, who has already written the screen play, said: “I am also scouting around while in Anguilla for locations for shooting some parts of the film.”

The Anguilla portion of the film will feature the trader coming to the island to make a bank deposit, spending some time at a hotel and walking on a beach.

The author is also visiting other neighbouring islands to promote her book and the film.
