The Anguilla Circuit intends to host several activities. The first of these planned activities is a Mock Criminal Trial scheduled for 17th November, 2006 at the House of Assembly. The participants include students from the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School and members of the Royal Anguilla Police Force. The Mock Criminal Trial not only provides entertainment but creates awareness about the legal system. The trial will be broadcasted live via radio and television.

The Organizational Committee for the 40th Anniversary celebrations will also host an inter-primary school and High School Essay Competition. Topics have been selected and cover various aspects of the judicial system. This competition will culminate in an awards ceremony on 26th January, 2006.

From a historical perspective, the Organizational Committee will host an exhibition at the Public Library in February 2007. The exhibition will display historic memorabilia pertaining to the court system in Anguilla. There will be various slide presentations and displays of court decisions, photographs and other memorabilia.

In the interest of providing further information to the public on particular areas of the law, the committee will conduct radio panel discussions from November 2006. A cross-section of topics has been earmarked for discussion including areas such as: family law, mediation, legal aid, criminal law and constitutional issues. The target will be to produce one radio panel discussion for each month commencing November 2006. Panelists will include lawyers within the Anguillian Community.

The Organizational Committee in Anguilla is a sub-committee of the Main Organizational Committee for the 40th Anniversary activities, chaired by Appellate Justice Barrow in St. Lucia. There is the hope that each State will meet at a central location to conclude the events in February 2007. The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (Anguilla Circuit) invites the public to participate in the up-coming activities.
