Special mention was made of Elected Member for Road South, the Hon. Hubert Hughes, during the Thanksgiving Service for Chief Minister, Hon. Osbourne Fleming, on October 15 at Bethel Methodist Church.

Birthday celebrant

While delivering a short address at the service, Mr Fleming extended birthday greetings to Mr. Hughes who is over 70, but enjoys very good health and really does not show his advancing age.

Mr. Hughes was asked to stand while the congregation sang the “Happy Birthday Song” for him. It added much to the atmosphere of fellowship, love and cordiality which filled the church.
