The inmates of the Miriam Gumbs Senior Citizens Home in Anguilla and many other elderly folk from throughout the island have enjoyed a visit to St. Maarten.

The boat ride sponsored by Caribbean Commercial Bank (CCB), saw the Senior Citizens spending Sunday, October 1, at St. Peter’s Estate at St. John.

They were among the senior citizens from French and Dutch St. Maarten and the trip was organised by the Nurse in Charge at the Miriam Gumbs Home in Anguilla, Cynthia Hughes-Richardson, and Nicole Richardson of the Bethany Home in Marigot, St. Martin.

It was a day of fellowship, plenty food, music and dance, according to Mrs. Hughes-Richardson. She was pleased with the arrangements and described the time as “a very lovely day.”
