He was flown to Anguilla by a Carib Air Service aircraft which touched down at Wallblake Airport shortly after 6.00 o’clock on Wednesday evening, September 13.

Silent and stone-faced, he was put into the cage of the waiting Prison Service Van.

He was recaptured in French St. Martin soon after his escape and taken to Guadeloupe where, according to Anguilla’s Commissioner of Police, he has exhausted all of his appeals to the French Judiciary against his extradition to Anguilla.

Otto is serving a life sentence for a double murder.
