Anguillian-born Reverend Richardson has served as Superintendent of the Anguilla Methodist Circuit for the past six years. His wife, Mrs. Charmaine Richardson, another Anguillian national, has been a Teacher at the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School. The couple and their son will be leaving Anguilla on Monday, August 21 for Nevis where Reverend Richardson will assume the post of Superintendent Minister, serving along with the Reverend Tyrone Hunkins. There are some six or seven Methodist Churches there.

Reverend Richardson was posted to Anguilla shortly after completing his study leave in the United States where he travelled on completion of his service in Jamaica.
“I can only give thanks to God and thanks to the officers and members of the Church in Anguilla who have worked with me over the years,” he told The Anguillian. “I am encouraging our people to give the same kind or even greater support to the new Superintendent Minister who comes in on August 22nd and will take up his appointment in September 1st.”

That appointee is the Reverend Dr. H. Clifton Niles, an Anguillian Minister who has been serving as Superintendent Minister of the St. Maarten Circuit.

“As I go to Nevis, I am looking forward to a new experience there and trust that the Church [in Anguilla] will continue to grow and be a blessing to all those who come through its doors to worship,” he added. “I thank the Anguillian public as a whole. It was quite a privilege to be able to serve while I am still considered to be young, relatively speaking. I trust that I have helped in someway to further the work of the Methodist Church in Anguilla.”
