Mr. Konnie Richardson of West End received US$5,000 from the Blanchard’s Boys to help defray medical expenses resulting from injuries suffered in a car accident a few months ago. He had to be flown to Trinidad for medical attention.

Blanchard’s Boys and Digicel also held a successful concert in April featuring Morgan Heritage and some of the funds from this venture were also given to Mr. Richardson to assist with the costs of treatment.

The Blanchard’s Boys will be holding a car raffle on August 5th as part of its August activities.

A portion of the proceeds from their fundraising events are donated to the community and this time is no exception.
The Blanchard’s Boys are all employed at Blanchard’s Restaurant and have been in existence for approximately seven year. In addition to their local activities they have been to Vermont and most recently were guests on NBC’s Today Show which aired June 5th. Plans are underway for them to visit California, New York and Vermont again this year. They are employed by Bob and Melinda Blanchard.
