Labour Day Sports Attracts Much Support

The Ronald Webster Park was a riot of colour and friendly rivalry as fourteen or more public and private sector teams participated in a series of fun day activities for the Labour Day holiday.

President of the Anguilla Amateur Athletic Association, Kenn Banks, welcomed the teams and was happy that to see the large turn out, which included a number of new teams.

Cap Juluca Resort and Cuisinart Resort & Spa sported special groups of young cheer leaders who danced and frolicked on the park as the senior teams prepared for the competitive sports. At the end of the day, the Cap Juluca team out-pointed the others in the games as in the previous year, much to their delight.

Below are some of the Labour Day scenes at the Webster Park.
