Founder and Director of the group, launched on March 11, Karl Woodley, said its existence was a result of many students, as well as persons in the community having shown a keen interest in theatrical performances.

He reported that the group was already working on its first play Shame and scandal in the family to be staged sometime in July or August this year. Members of the group are expected to perform in this year’s Digicel Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant in May.

The group comprises the following executive members: Natasha Walker, President; Shawn Richards, Vice President, Kercia Barry, Treasurer; Dinicia Richardson, Secretary; Tashanna Brooks, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer; and Zonnelle Richardson, Public Relations Officer.

Woodley said that in addition to school children, the group was open to any member of the community. He added that apart from the performing arts, the newly-formed group would become involved in discussions pertaining to youth.
