New AHTA Executive Director


Trudy Nixon has replaced Anne Van Deventer- Rabatin as the new Executive Director of the AHTA. Trudy is a senior communications professional with over 20 years experience working in a range of marketing and communications roles in London, England. Most recently she has been working for a UK-based travel business on assignments in Europe and the Dominican Republic. She is a frequent visitor to Anguilla and so will be a familiar face to many.

“I am excited and honoured to be selected for this challenged role. Anguilla’s tourism community is growing and developing and I will try hard to support my members’ needs. The Association’s door is open to anyone who would like to know more about our work. Please come and visit,” says Trudy Nixon.

President of the Association, Sherrille Hughes remarked that, “We are delighted to welcome Trudy Nixon as our new Executive Director. We are confident that Trudy will very capably represent the interests of Anguilla’s tourism, and wider communities, and will bring a new approach to the management of our growing association.”
