CuisinArt Staff Undergo Training


Just prior to its reopening, CuisinArt Resort and Spa held training sessions for a number of its staff. The training was conducted by visiting personnel from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island.

The course included training for culinary and dining room staff on sanitation, and a 12-hour session and certification on “servsafe” for chefs and the food and beverage management team.

“Servsafe” is the highest level of the sanitation course approved by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation in the United States.

According to a statement from the hotel, CuisinArt will be the first resort in Anguilla to have both its hourly staff and management team approved under the course.

The training was conducted by Dr. Woodruff, a lecturer at Johnson & Wales University.
