Stop The Gang Warfare

The Editor
The Anguillian

Dear Mr. Editor,

STOP THE GANG WARFARE

People leave their homes to enjoy themselves but instead they get caught up in these small village gangs who do not like that they are losing. Instead of behaving, they start a war and some innocent person gets the bullet.

Small minded people think small. It takes a big man to walk away. Look what happened to our Queen Show? Trigger-happy fingers start playing thugs and people that were not involved got hurt.

Anguilla is too small to have guns and gangs. Look at it: Blowing Point can’t come in The Valley, and The Valley can’t go East End. Can’t they see that they are destroying Anguilla?

People are afraid to go anywhere because of them. They need to stop all of this foolishness. Do they want their child to become a gang member too? What if one of their family members is caught up in the crossfire?
This life is too short. STOP the gang wars. It does not pay.
