Mrs. Claudia S. Donovan of the White Hill, Anguilla graduated Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a double concentration in Economics and Management from Bowie State University (BSU).

Mrs. Donovan graduated in three years instead of the usual four as the top student in the Business Department. She attended the University from 2002 to 2005.

While at BSU she held the position of President of the Delta Mu Delta. She was a member of the Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society and the Alpha Chi, the National Marketing Honour Society and was also Vice President of Communications and Promotions of the American Marketing Association of the Bowie State Chapter.

She was also awarded the Certificate of Recognition from Prince George’s County in Maryland as well as the Certificate of Academic Excellence from the Ministry of Education and Culture in the British Virgin Islands Government.

In 2004 Claudia was one of eighty students from Universities around America to be selected by the International Missions to go to Europe to participate in International Missions on Business. She was also selected as the Financial Lead of the Students Business Services in the Department of Finance at Bowie State University.
Before attending BSU Mrs. Donovan workedat the Long Bay Beach Resort in Tortola, BVI as the Accounts Manager. She is presently working in the Comptroller’s Office, Department of Finance at Bowie State. She plans to continue her studies to attain a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management in the Fall of 2005.

Claudia is the wife of Cilio Donovan of Tortola and the daughter of Clive and Gwendolyn Smith of Anguilla.
