Members of the public in Anguilla are to be treated with a grand concert entitled The Easter Spirit in the April Evening by the Senior Choir of St. Mary’s Anglican Church on Sunday April 24, commencing at 4.30 p.m.

The programme of song and music will be presented under the distinguished patronage of the Rt. Reverend Errol Brooks and Mrs. Brooks.

The names have been announced of two guest artistes who will also be giving performances. They are professional singer, Una Gumbs and Russian-born pianist, Olga Lutsiv-Ternovskaya.

A spokesperson close to the event said it was one of a number of fund-raising efforts towards the purchase of a piano for St. Mary’s Church. He noted that the Church’s Allen Organ was in constant use and there was a need for a piano for general purposes, thereby allowing the organ to be used for worship services only.

He hoped that many persons would attend and support the fund-raising concert and contribute the admission fee of EC$20.
