A large enthusiastic crowd witnessed the 10th running of the annual Ashley and Sons Road Relay on Sunday 6th, March. Over 175 students from the seven Primary Schools and the five houses of the A.L.H.C School participated in this feature event on the National Sports calendar. This event is held on the 1st Sunday in March every year as a warm-up to the Sports Days activities for both Primary and Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive Schools.

The Anguilla Amateur Athletic Association thanks the many supporters, parents and participants who attended the very exciting event. Special thanks is extended to the ongoing sponsor of this event Ashley and Sons.

The Association also takes this opportunity to invite all to come out and support the various sporting activities to be held. The Primary School Road Race will be held on Friday 18th March around the Queen Elizabeth Avenue starting at 9:00am and the Primary Schools Sports Day will once again be sponsored by Tropical Shipping and will take place on Wednesday 23rd March.
Meanwhile the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School Sports Day will take place on 31st March and the Road Race on the 24th March this will be sponsored by Cable and Wireless.

They are reminding the General Public of the Leeward Islands Track and Field Youth Championship to be held here in Anguilla on 30th April and 1st May.
