Lidia Shave Exhibits Paintings At Devonish Gallery |

The current exhibition at the Devonish Gallery is showing the lovely art work of Mrs Lidia Shave, wife of former governor of Anguilla, Mr Alan Shave.

The oil and water paintings are flowers, landscapes, trees and views of Bolivia where the Shaves have made their home since retiring from Anguilla. A painting of a scene from Anguilla is also included.
Mrs Shave only started painting after leaving Anguilla in 1995, she had a short course in painting but is mostly self taught. Her work is of an excellent standard and was very popular with visitors to the opening of the exhibition on Saturday, February 19th, who admired her work and welcomed the couple on their vacation here.
