Members of the various divisions of the Pathfinders gathered at the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal on January 16 to bid farewell to Pastor Oville Fleming, who served as the Resident Minister for the Seventh-day Adventist Church for five years.

Many of the young people became members of the Pathfinder Club during his ministry and he played a significant role in their development over the years.

“We will miss you,” some of them told him as they wept over his departure.

He was also seen off by adult members of the three Seventh-day Adventist congregations on the island. Among them was his father, Pastor Oriel Fleming, who was in Anguilla from his St. Croix office conducting a Master Guide Course for a number of senior persons.

Pastor Fleming has joined his family in Atlanta, Georgia.
