Physiotherapy At Welches From June 21

The Health Authority of Anguilla will be launching its physiotherapy services at the Welches Polyclinic from Monday June 21 as part of the provision of a full range of services at the upgraded facility there.

The services are being relocated from the Princess Alexandra Hospital and will be available on an outpatients’ basis, following referrals by a doctor to the Physiotherapist, Miss Khalidah Banks.

Miss Banks, who holds a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy from Ithaca College in New York, has been busy leading the process of change from the hospital to the polyclinic with the assistance of the Chief Executive Officer of the Heath Authority, Dexter James, and others. The preparatory work has included the putting in place of new treatment and payment policies and the installation of equipment.
