Regional Games Enjoyable Affair


Anguilla hosted the 7th Annual Inland Revenue Games, over the Easter weekend, which attracted a large number of Caribbean nationals.

On Good Friday, at the start of the games at the Ronald Webster Park, the participating teams held a colourful parade and carried their national flags. They were welcomed by Director of Sports, Atkins Rogers. Earlier, a formal reception was held at LA Café.

The activities included various games and social events. Anguilla emerged with first place in the competitive games followed by St. Lucia and Dominica in second and third places respectively.

The visiting Caribbean nationals represented Inland Revenue Departments in Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago.
