The Anguilla delegation is being led by Chairman of the Anguilla Tourist Board, John Benjamin, and includes Deputy Director of Tourism, Candis Niles, Heather Gumbs of Carimar Beach Club, Sherille Hughes of Paradise Cove and Luis Salvatore of Cocoloba Beach Resort, as well as Puerto Rican business man, Guillermo Pino.

Anguilla will be the featured destination at the Gala Banquet, which will take place on Saturday June 21st. As the Emerald Sponsor of this event, the Anguilla Tourist Board and three participating properties receive mention in the PRCC official newsletter, Camara en Accion; mention of sponsorship in the Convention programme; an 8x10 exhibitor’s booth for the duration of the Convention; and a 5-minute destination video to be shown during the course of the evening. Information on the island and the sponsoring properties will also be made available to key members of the Chamber.

Anguilla is expected to benefit from exposure of its product to a segment of the Puerto Rico market which includes major decision makers and highly disposable income generators. The market comprises more than 1.2 million potential travelers, and the major vacation period falls between the months of July to September.

The Anguilla Tourist Board acknowledges the sterling support of American Airlines/American Eagle and Anguilla Rums for their contribution to the success of the event.
